Refund policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy – Courses and Workshops

This policy applies to all course and workshop bookings made with Form and Findings Studio.

1. Small Group Sizes

Our courses and workshops are intentionally kept small to ensure high-quality teaching and individual attention. As a result, places are limited and in high demand.

We strongly advise that you carefully check all dates and your availability before booking.

2. Booking & Refund Basis

  • All course and workshop bookings are non-refundable.
  • Bookings may be converted into a credit voucher, subject to the cancellation terms below.
  • Credit vouchers are issued as 1 year unless otherwise specified.

3. Sliding Scale Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

  • More than 8 weeks before the course date:
    Full value issued as a credit voucher.
  • 8 to 4 weeks before the course date:
    Credit voucher issued minus a 20% administration fee.
  • 4 to 2 weeks before the course date:
    Credit voucher issued minus a 50% administration fee.
  • Less than 2 weeks before the course date:
    No credit voucher will be issued.
  • A workshop or course no show is non-refundable

Administration fees reflect the time and costs involved in managing bookings and filling cancelled spaces.

4. Transferring Your Place

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person:

  • You must notify us in advance via email.
  • Please provide the full name and contact details of the person attending in your place.
  • The replacement participant must meet any course requirements.

5. Rescheduling

  • You may request to reschedule your booking once only.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability of spaces on alternative dates.
  • We reserve the right to apply administrative fees depending on notice given.

6. Studio Cancellations

If we need to cancel or reschedule a course or workshop:

  • We will provide as much notice as possible and not less than 3 days’ notice via email where reasonably possible.
  • You will be offered:
    • A rescheduled date, or
    • A full credit voucher, or
    • A full refund

7. General Notes

  • All requests for cancellations, transfers, or rescheduling must be made in writing via email to Hello@formandfindingsstudio.com
  • Credit vouchers are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course schedules where necessary.

Refund & Returns Policy - Jewellery

1. Returns & Exchanges Window
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a refund or exchange.

Once your request has been approved, you then have an additional 14 days to return the item to us.

2. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a refund:

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging
  • Items showing signs of wear or damage will not be eligible for a refund

3. Return Postage
Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage.
All returns must be sent using a
Royal Mail Signed For® service to ensure safe delivery.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Form and Findings Studio, Coda Music & Arts Trust, Studio 4, Chewton Farm Road, Walkford, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 2DQ.

We are not responsible for returns lost or missing in transit, so we strongly recommend retaining proof of postage.

4. Faulty Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your item is faulty or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

  • Return postage costs for faulty items will be fully refunded
  • You may be offered a replacement or full refund

5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable:

  • Earrings, due to hygiene reasons
  • Made-to-order or bespoke commissions, unless faulty
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

6. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your provider
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at Hello@formandfindingsstudio.com.
